Our group has been awarded the Spark Award for the Most Promising Invention of the Year at ETH Zurich for our work on the separation of rare earth elements using thiometallates. This invention, developed and patented during Marie’s PhD, offers a highly selective, efficient, and scalable solution to separate and recover critical rare earth elements. We look forward to scaling up this process soon!
